IBO英国生物测评(中级)(Intermediate Biology Olympiad)面向高一、高二年级(GCSE和A1),是英国生物测评的初阶活动。不仅考察学生的生物学知识,还鼓励他们在校外继续学习生物科学。成绩优秀者将增加世界名校医学、生物等理科专业申请优势。
英国中级生物奥林匹克活动由英国生物奥林匹克委员会组织,由英国皇家生物学会管理。从 2020 年起正式授权 ASDAN 中国(阿思丹)成为其在中国的承办单位。
英国皇家生物学会(简称 RSB), 总部位于伦敦市中心,拥有 16000 多名会员,汇聚了 100 多个国家生物界的著名科学家和生物研究人员,为全球极具影响力的生物学术组织之一。

iBO生物竞赛主要考察学生IGCSE和第一年AS的学习内容,具体考试内容大致可分为如下:
25%动物解剖学及生理学,20%细胞生物学,15%遗传与进化,15%植物解剖学及生理学,15%生态学,5%动物行为学,5%生物分类学
中级生物奥林匹克竞赛的核心主题与AQA、Edexcel、OCR AS/A级的教学大纲相一致。

针对2024年11月iBO竞赛备考,犀牛专门开设有iBO竞赛培训课程,包含全程班,基础班课程,考前冲刺课程。由于iBO竞赛和BBO竞赛、USABO竞赛有很多重合的地方,因此同学学完这个课程之后,明年上半年可以直接参加BBO&USABO竞赛课程。

共60h,包含iBO知识点讲解40h + 真题冲刺20h,课程内容相当于学科Pre-IB/IG生物

师资介绍:
杨卓航老师,本科毕业于英国伦敦帝国理工生物学专业;硕士毕业于伦敦帝国理工免疫学专业;曾在帝国理工从事研究免疫代谢(immunometabolism)对于调节性T细胞(regulatoryTcells)的分化与可塑性的作用的相关研究。
授课理念:
以有趣的视角切入相对枯燥的学科知识,带动学生对生物学的兴趣,提高主动学习的意愿,能够针对不同基础的学生定制不同的学习计划,有效提升学生的学习成绩。
教学成果:
生物课程教研和授课时间1000小时以上;有丰富的生物竞赛教学经验,教授学生获得USABO和BBO金奖。
