第 2 篇，笔记概括题，讲解中国汉堡塔斯汀，第 1 题关于塔斯汀成功的原因，第 2 题关于新中式风格失败
的案例。
写作：Descriptive writing.
Descriptive writing Prompt: Look at the picture provided on the next page. Describe the dragon in the picture on
the next page. Focus on its appearance, features, and the impression it gives.
*TOPICS THAT You COULD DESCRIBE: The scales, eyes, claws, teeth, tail, wings
*LANGAUCE TECHNIQUES(语言技巧): You should aim to use the writing strategies below to help describe the
dragon. This allows you to achieve a high grade.
a) SIMLE(明喻): Comparing something to something else using the words “LIKE”or “AS
example: She was crying like a waterfall
b) METAFOR(暗喻): figure of speech where a word or phrase is used to describe something in a way that isn't
literally true but helps to explain or make a comparison
Example: "she has a heart of gold” (it means that she is a good person, not that she literally has a heart made of
gold.)
c) ADJECTIVES: Describing words
Example: BLUE car. RED hair. FAT cat
