GMAT考试逻辑题有五大考点，当中有一个特殊题型，与其他四个考点出题形式都不同，同时又是很多同学屡做屡错的考点那就是Boldface题。
Boldface题俗称：黑体题、黑脸题、BD题、BF题
Boldface题标志性特征：加粗部分。
Boldface考察方向：考察黑体字部分在文中起到的作用，需要对文章整体进行把握。
它的原文论述通常很长很复杂，用词也比较晦涩，但它的选项里却几乎不涉及任何原文讨论的内容，而更多关注到原文论述的推理结构，这个题型就是boldface黑体题。
很多同学在做题的时候最怕面对这个题型，因为它的论述通常复杂难懂。但其实掌握了技巧之后，黑体题也并没有那么可怕。
题型识别
黑体题的识别是非常轻松的问法非常单一，通常都会这样提问：
In the argument given, the two portions in boldface play which of the following roles?
直接看原文的话你也会看到非常明显的两句话被加粗加黑了，在题目中看到了加粗加黑的部分，那么你面对的一定是一道boldface题目。
解题步骤
1、找论点--找出全文核心论点，读出转折含义，核心论点通常躲在转折之后和句尾。
2、理结构--理清楚一道Boldface题的结构，注意不是黑体句子的结构，而是整个一段话的结构，尤其要知道这段话中结论在何处。
3、看属性--看黑体本身在结构中的位置，是背景、条件还是结论。
4、判关系--看boldface句同前后句的关系，推出两个boldface句之间的逻辑关系;前一半BF, 是一个假设? 或者是一个中间结论?
如果体会出是一个假设, 那么选项中说第一部分是其他什么的,就被排除了。没有什么必杀选项只有理解文章才可以。
例如：
Conclusion：作者的结论和主张
引导词：conclusion, conclude, assert that, think that, claim, position, it can be made that... consequently, obviously, clearly, hence, therefore, thus...
premise：证明(事实或主张)的证据
引导词：because of, since, due to, as a result of
Intermediate Conclusion支持最终结论的小结论
Counterpoint：违背作者的结论
background：为论点设置的背景
Consideration：做判断时要考虑的一个因素
Evidence：有助于形成结论或判断
judgment：有主观判断的，一种推断出来的依据
引导词：it is fause/ ill concieved; it should be rejected as... / no longer required, it is unjustified, it is reasonable.....
例题讲解
Plant scientists have used genetic engineering on seeds to produce crop plants that are highly resistant to insect damage. Unfortunately, the plants require more fertilizer and water to grow well than normal ones do, and the seeds themselves are quite expensive, and for most farmers the savings on pesticides would not compensate for the higher seed costs and the cost of additional fertilizer. However, since consumer demand for grains, fruits, and vegetables grown without the use of pesticides continues to rise, the use of genetically engineered seeds of this kind is likely to become widespread.
