LSAT writing 为什么不计分？LSAT Writing考什么？
LSAT部分中，writing并不计分，但也不是个形式，它的作用，是随申请提交给法学院，排位靠前的法学院或者认真的招生官，或者在标化成绩不分伯仲，或者遇到优秀学员他们很难抉择的时候，会看上一看，帮助他们做出更进一步的选择。还有的招生官也会因为这份writing，来参照文书内容作者的陈述。总之，招生官不是千篇一律的，任何提交申请的内容，都需要慎重对待！

LSAT写作题型
LSAT写作考察的是观点性题目。题目会描述做选择的情景，并要求你在两种观点中选择你支持的一种，并加以阐释。写作观点的选择没有对错之分，考生只需要在写作中展现自己说服性写作的技巧，包括良好的逻辑分析能力，语言组织能力，文章组织能力等等。法学院会根据考生的文章考量其是否符合学习法学的条件。
LSAT评分标准
写作部分并不计入总分，但是只有完成了写作部分的考试，考生才能拿到LSAT的其他考试成绩。除此之外，考生的写作也会寄往大学，作为申请入学的材料之一。因此，LSAT写作考试还是很重要的。
例题（节选）：
BLZ Stores, an established men's clothing retailer with a chain of stores in a major metropolitan area, is selecting a plan for expansion. Using the facts below, write an essay in which you argue for one of the following plans over the other based on the following two criteria:
The company wants to increase its profits.
The company wants to ensure its long-term financial stability.
The ‘national plan’: open a larger number of men’s clothing stores throughout the country over a short period of time; would incur considerable debt; could increase profits dramatically; would have severe financial consequences; BLZ is not well-known outside its home area; currently faces increasingly heavy competition in its home region.
The ‘regional plan’: increase the number and size of stores in the company’s home region and upgrade their facilities, product quality and service; increase the prices; local population is growing; BLZ has strong customer loyalty; could continue reliance on known and trusted suppliers. |
